Bruuuuuuuuce

She'll let you in her house
If you come knockin' late at night
She'll let you in her mouth
If the words you say are right
If you pay the price
She'll let you deep inside
But there's a secret garden she hides
She'll let you in her car
To go drivin' round
She'll let you into the parts of herself
That'll bring you down
She'll let you in her heart
If you got a hammer and a vise
But into her secret garden, don't think twice
You've gone a million miles
How far'd you get
To that place where you can't remember
And you can't forget
She'll lead you down a path
There'll be tenderness in the air
She'll let you come just far enough
So you know she's really there
She'll look at you and smile
And her eyes will say
She's got a secret garden
Where everything you want
Where everything you need
Will always stay
A million miles away
<3
I know it's not literally about a secret garden but I like these pictures. I love songs that make me think of or picture certain things. I think this song kind of describes me in a way.

random pictures
so cvs called me that they had these pictures, i don't even remember dropping them off. they pretty much suck but here's some. and i also hate how when i make them smaller on the computer (when i scan them in they come up huge) they get that weird digital blur. i tend to take pictures of the same things over and over. what a waste. i wish i could post pictures of people on here because i take a ton, but it freaks me out to post pictures of my friends and family on the internet. i dunno.

Possession
Listen as the wind blows
From across the great divide
Voices trapped in yearning
Memories trapped in time
The night is my companion
And solitude my guide
Would I spend forever here
And not be satisfied
And I would be the one
To hold you down
Kiss you so hard
I’ll take your breath away
And after I’d wipe away the tears
Just close your eyes dear
Through this world I’ve stumbled
So many times betrayed
Trying to find an honest word
To find the truth enslaved
Oh you speak to me in riddles and
You speak to me in rhymes
My body aches to breathe your breath
Your words keep me alive
And I would be the one
To hold you down
Kiss you so hard
I’ll take your breath away
And after I’d wipe away the tears
Just close your eyes dear
Into this night I wander
It’s morning that I dread
Another day of knowing of
The path I fear to tread
Oh into the sea of waking dreams
I follow without pride
Nothing stands between us here
And I won’t be denied
And I would be the one
To hold you down
Kiss you so hard
I’ll take your breath away
And after I’d wipe away the tears
Just close your eyes dear

Jones Beach
These are from when I saw Aerosmith there on the last tour (the dates on the camera are wrong) one of the best nights EVER! We were right on the stage, I swear I didn't use a zoom. And I hate how blogger shrinks my pictures but I'm too lazy to upload to photobucket right now.

this is my favorite one I took that night

pointing at me!

we could have literally touched Joey's butt while he was playing on the b-stage

I yelled something to him like, "I love you Tom!" and he looked right at me. hahaa we were such dorks that night

We went yesterday to Jones Beach for this walk thing that my uncle's company sponsored. The whole time I was just looking at the theater right next to us and wishing I was at a concert!! I really really hope to see The Who there in September, but the problem is that it's a Wednesday. One of my uncle's clients even said he has season tickets and if we want to see any shows we should let him know, because he never goes! Plus they are doing an Attic Jam thing in NYC, which I would really like to see. (more than the Who, if you can believe it) It would be amazing if the Attic show was on a weekend so I wouldn't have to miss school.

Rachel Fuller
First of all, happy birthday to her!! (or to you, if you're reading this ;-) Secondly, I am a bit ashamed to say it's taken this long but I FINALLY got Rachel's new EP!! It's about time. It only took so long because I don't have a car here and Barnes and Noble is kinda far so I had to get my aunt to drive me there. Although I've heard all the songs already, I've been listening all day. I love it! I played it for my aunt in the car on the way home from the bookstore and she liked it too. Rachel has another fan.

concert

I don't know why that picture looks so small here. The one I developed looks bigger.
The concert was really fun. I met my uncle in the city at like 4:00 and then we got dinner and drove to Jersey. We got there and sat in the parking lot for a while (there were SO many tailgaters) and then we went into the stadium. I got a really cool shirt and then we went to our seats. It was still like a hundred degrees and really hot, but luckily our seats were under an awning thing so it wasn't AS bad. Nickelback opened and we didn't know a lot but they sounded really good on the songs we did know. Great opening act, but I think they would sound 100x better in a small theatre like the Beacon or Jones Beach or something. Anyway, then we were waiting for Bon Jovi to come on. We had pretty good seats but the stage was in one endzone and we were directly in the other endzone. So like 10 minutes before Bon Jovi came on there was still this one section that was empty- it was so weird! So we're just like, "screw it" and we climbed through all the people and went to the empty seats. We couldn't go out and through the hallway because then they would check our tickets. So we got there and the seats made such a difference! We were like on the 50 yard line and only about a row or 2 off of the floor. The section filled up really quickly after people realized no one was coming to fill up the seats.
Then Bon Jovi came on. They opened with Rockin' in the Free World which I thought was kind of weird, but it was fun. For about the first 30-45 minutes, we only knew about every other or every third song, so it was kind of boring. Towards the middle it started getting really good. Then it started raining, and it totally woke everyone up. The show was better and better from that point on. It really turned into a party atmosphere- I think it totally relieved everyone from the heat and tiredness. We all got down to as little clothes as we could (lol) and we were all jumping and dancing and singing in the rain, it was SO fun!! Even with people we didn't know, we were all just having fun together. Jon looked at the crowd and said something like, "holy shit! what the hell just happened in here?". And incase you were wondering, YES, he is as gorgeous in person. ;-) Richie took lead vocals for I'll Be There For You, and it was amazing. He's so great, I swear he's practically better than Jon. After Richie sang, Jon came back out and he yells, "hey man!!" and we all went nuts. They sang it! Someday I'll Be Saturday night, one of my favorite songs! I was so surprised because I didn't see it on any previous setlists I looked at. I was also surprised that they did Bad Medicine and Bed of Roses too. Love those. Towards the end it started really pouring and thundering and lightning, and the show ended. They came out for an encore and only did one song because of the weather. But, at least it was Livin' on a Prayer! I would have been upset if I didn't hear that.
Ok this turned into a fucking novel. So it ended up being a fun show and I'm glad we went.

100 degrees
Ok I WAS excited to see Bon Jovi. Now I'm dreading it. It's supposed to be 100 degrees in the meadowlands tomorrow (with humidity and stuff it should feel like 105). And we're going to be in an outdoor stadium with like 50-60,000 other people. I am PRAYING that it rains. I'd 1000x rather be standing in rain than sweating my ass off. I'm going to kill myself now. Kthanks.

She Talks to Angels
She never mentions the word addiction
In certain company
Yes, she'll tell you she's an orphan
After you meet her family
She paints her eyes as black as night, now
Pulls those shades down tight
Yeah, she gives a smile when the pain comes
The pain's gonna make everything alright
Says she talks to angels
They call her out by her name
Oh yeah, she talks to angels
Says they call her out by her name
She keeps a lock of hair in her pocket
She wears a cross around her neck
Yes, the hair is from a little boy
And the cross is someone she has not met, not yet
Says she talks to angels
Says they all know her name
Oh yeah, she talks to angels
Says they call her out by her name
She don't know no lover
None that I ever seen
Yeah, to her that ain't nothing
But to me, yeah me
It means everything
She paints her eyes as black as night now
She pulls those shades down tight
Oh yeah, there's a smile when the pain comes
The pain's gonna make everything alright, alright yeah
She talks to angels
Says they call her out by her name
Oh yeah, angels
Call her out by her name
Oh, angels
They call her out by her name
Oh, she talks to angels
They call her out
Yeah, they call her out
Don't you know that they call her out by her name

pictures
wow 2 posts in one day!

these marhsmallows were so good! haha
also just saw the dates so far for The Who's tour!! Looks like I'll end up going to Jones Beach (I fucking love that venue, that's where we saw Aerosmith from like the 6th row on the catwalk. it's a gorgeous theatre right on the beach) unless they announce a FL date before the NY ones go on sale. I'd much rather see them at Jones Beach than at the Garden, but it will suck if it rains. of course i'd rather see them in FL so I don't have to miss 2 days of school! But you've gotta do what you've gotta do. Some might say that my priorities are fucked up, but that's the way I like it. ;-)

no internet
UGH! we had bad storms all day yesterday and the computer in my room won't connect to the internet for some reason. need to have that fixed. i'm on my cousins laptop now but i fucking hate typing on laptops. i can't even connect my ipod to the laptop. fuck.
so i think i'm seeing Pirates 2 tonight finally. i heard it wasn't as good as the first, but i've still gotta see it.
and the big news of the day is that my uncle got us Bon Jovi tickets!! i've never seen them before so i'm excited, even though last time i saw them live on tv they sucked. good eye candy, regardless. ;) i met Richie Sambora a few years ago (omg was it already 2 years ago?!) and he was really sweet. too bad we can't meet them on tuesday. we got our seats on ticketmaster just totally randomly- you know how sometimes a few days before the show if you go on you can get really good seats for whatever reason? well we are in section 119 which is pretty damn good considering that the floor is expensive and sold out and my uncle can't wait in line for GA all day.

they won!!
and it was fucking awesome. It sucks to win on penalties, but Zidane's shot shouldn't have been a PK anyway. And Zidane really pissed me off, acting like that. What a fool. He knew that it was his last game. I thought he was a classy, amazing, experienced player. He doesn't have the excuse (well not an excuse but...) that someone like Rooney has of being young and insane! He must feel like shit. I have to admit that I do kind of feel bad for him. What a shame.
Anyway, the thing that counts is that we won!

What a great goalkeeper.

Platinum Weird
They certainly live up to their name! This is so bizzare. I actually like the music though. I saw the music video on VH1 and I thought something was off...I thought the girl from the 70's video looked so much like Lindsay Lohan it was crazy, but I figured it couldn't be her (obviously). Then I looked it up and found all this and that it actually was her!! I think it's a smart idea from Dave Stewart, who the hell would think of this? It was a great idea to get all of his friends to play along. What really convinced me watching it on tv was all the real interviews with Mick Jagger, Ringo Starr, Elton John, Stevie Nicks, Annie Lennox, etc. talking about how they remember the band and stuff. But then Elton blew it when he said that their singer ran off with his boyfriend in the 70's, that's when I knew something was up. You're a bad liar, Elton!

it's friday!
...Even though that doesn't mean much to me since it's summer. Tomorrow is the 3rd place game for the World Cup! i'm rooting for Germany. It was sad to see them go after doing so well in the tournament! Although I have to say I was hoping Italy would beat them anyway.
The woman who cut my hair today is German- her family still lives there- and she said that the whole entire city closes down every time there's a soccer (football as she says) game going on, and that there's been so many riots and crazy drunk people there and that it's been total chaos.
For the final on Sunday of course I want Italy to win. I do have to admit that it would be nice to see Zidane go out as a winner though. But I've gotta root for my boys! (okay my 2nd place boys after the English of course) I really do love the Italian team, and no not just because of their looks!
Totally different topic: my grandparents got back from their European cruise!! They said it was beautiful and they took over 500 pictures. Will post some as soon as I get. They said their favorite places were Monaco, Barcelona, and Santorini (Greece). One day I will get to Europe! Maybe next summer. Look how beautiful Santorini is. It really is. And I usually don't like beachy places like that! (they didn't take these)
It's like a painting.
